Fine lines
Softening the lines that have set, without flattening the expressions that made them.

What is actually happening
Movement leaves a record. Repeated expression folds the skin in the same places for decades, and eventually the fold stays when the muscle relaxes. That is a static line. A line only visible when you frown is a dynamic one, and the two are treated differently.
The distinction matters because dynamic lines respond well to neuromodulators, while static lines usually need resurfacing or a biostimulator alongside. Treating a static line with a neuromodulator alone produces a disappointing result and a patient who assumes the product did not work.
What we assess
We look at the line at rest and at full expression, and we watch you talk. Some lines are load-bearing — soften them and the face reads as blank rather than rested.
What we usually advise
Conservative dosing on a first visit, then a two-week review. It is easy to add and impossible to remove.
When we say no
Very deep static lines in thin skin sometimes need a surgical opinion rather than more product. We will say so.
