What this actually is
Energy devices work by delivering controlled damage at a specific depth and letting the repair response do the rest. The variables that matter are wavelength, depth, density and heat — and the wrong combination on the wrong skin makes the presenting problem worse.
This is why we do not let patients book a named device. You book an assessment; the device follows from it.
How we choose
Skin type, pigment behaviour, sun exposure over the next three months, and what you can realistically take in downtime.
Preparation
Most protocols need four to eight weeks of topical preparation. Skipping it raises the risk of rebound pigment.
Seasonality
Some treatments are autumn and winter work. We will move you rather than treat you at the wrong time of year.
